The Biona wedge pillow is ideal for elevating the upper body and legs, for adults and also for babies. It brings relief from various ailments e.g. head- back- neck pain, ear infections, helps to improve breathing e.g. cough, cold and other respiratory diseases. The slightly angled position of approx. 16.5° and in the case of the wedge for babies approx. 13° ensures an improved sleeping and resting position. Breathing is made easier for bedridden patients with heart failure. Problems with snoring can also be alleviated by a wedge.

Scientific studies prove the positive effect of reflux pillows on the occurrence of heartburn while lying down. It is important that the reflux pillow lifts the whole upper body. Placing a second pillow underneath does not help because it only raises the neck or only the head and not the entire upper body. All we achieve with this is that we have to complain about a stiff neck the next morning in addition to the heartburn.

The mattress wedge will also serve you well for elevating the legs. The gentle elevation of the feet and legs not only relieves the legs and lumbar vertebrae, but also facilitates the return of blood to the heart. In this way, a wide variety of problems with the feet, legs and veins can be easily alleviated. Whether varicose veins, heavy, swollen legs, cold feet, thrombosis or even calf cramps - in many cases the regular elevation of the feet and calves alone provides immediate relief from the symptoms.
