At these low temperatures and lack of bleach, fungi and germs can survive. They remain in the residual water of the washing machine and multiply there. After approx. 150 disinfection washes, the wipe turns white and must be replaced.It can be disposed of in household waste without any problems.

Good to know: Hygiene without chemicals

Detergents and cleaning agents are used daily in households, commerce and industry. Because they are so ubiquitous, the potential health and environmental hazards of their use are often underestimated. In fact, the use of detergents and cleaning agents pollutes wastewater considerably with chemicals. But detergents and cleaning agents also play an essential role in health. Although they serve to provide the necessary hygiene, their use can also introduce harmful substances such as allergenic fragrances and preservatives into indoor spaces, which weaken the immune system and irritate the skin. If possible, do not use fabric softener: 1. because it is pure chemistry and 2. because it can negatively influence the effect of hygienic cleanliness. For fragrance in the laundry we recommend so-called fragrance rinse on essential oils drizzled on an extra cloth.

The fact that silver, or more precisely silver ions, have an antibacterial effect has been known for a long time. Silver helps to keep surgical instruments clean and is also used in wound plasters. Silver acts against germs and fungi in a completely natural way.

Important to know:

It is neither nano- nor micro-silver, but elemental silver with which a fiber (polyester core) is galvanically coated - comparable to acupuncture needles. As soon as the silver comes into contact with water, it releases silver ions that do not pass through the blood-brain barrier and do not settle in the body. Sulfur solutions completely degrade the silver in wastewater treatment plants.
