Protective covers need to be used in addition to normal bedding! Protective covers cannot replace your everyday pillow case, etc.!
Because allergens are stirred up at every removal, one should only replace the protective covers about once a year. Because nothing adheres to the thin, breathable special coating, allergens do not multiply on its surface, which makes constant washing unnecessary. In most cases, wiping the cover with a wet cloth is enough to remove stains.
