Description

The seat wedge is a real help for the pelvis and the spine. It causes the pelvis to tilt forward and the spine to straighten. As a result, the ligamentous apparatus of the pelvis and spine, intervertebral discs and vertebral joints are somewhat relieved, which improves rib function or breathing.


Other possible applications:

  • Lying down, with a seat wedge under the pelvis, the vertebral joints of the lumbar spine are stretched and the intervertebral discs are relieved. The higher part of the seat wedge points towards the feet. You can increase the effect by placing a second seat wedge on top of the first wedge and also placing the calves on a stool.
  • Place the seat wedge on the stool the other way around for a while, i.e. with the high edge in front, then still sit upright. This will work and exercise the abdominal muscles more.
  • Place a seat wedge on your desk or work table. You already have the ideal bookend and thus relieve your head joints, the upper cervical vertebrae, have fewer headaches and feel fit.
  • Place a seat wedge on the floor with the high side facing a wall. Stand with both feet on the seat wedge. Hold onto the wall with both hands. Bring your body backward. Stretch your knees well. Do this for 20 seconds. This gently stretches the calf muscles, making them run more elastically and feel better.


Due to the composite foam, you sit comfortably but hardly sink in, so the functionality of the seat wedge is not affected.
