Almost 60% of all men snore in some form. Around a third of all men (36%) are even loud snorers. Among women, the rate of loud snorers is 21%. As a result, many couples sleep apart permanently or often have relationship problems! In addition to "normal" snoring, there is also so-called non-rhythmic snoring, a symptom of obstructive sleep apnoea, which leads to an increased risk of stroke, heart attack and high blood pressure due to regular interruptions in breathing.

This specially developed anti-snoring health pillow made of viscoelastic foam promotes correct sleeping posture (position therapy) thanks to its special design and stability and significantly reduces the frequency and severity of snoring. The use of nasal tubes and/or nasal strips can easily be combined with this pillow. The best position for snorers is the lateral sleeping position. During sleep, our muscles relax at the level of the pharynx behind the tongue and cause a narrowing of the airways. When sleeping on the back, the tongue can then sink backwards, making the space even smaller. Snoring is then caused by the air being forced through the narrowed airways (vibrating soft tissues in the mouth, throat and nasal cavity).

The upper and lower parts of the cover are made from the AirWaveSilverFresh cover fabric, which incorporates silver strips. This inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi and therefore also the formation of odors. The foam contains many climate perforations to ensure good air permeability.

This is further enhanced by the SmartColor cover from which the side strips are made, which act as air conditioning. SmartColor is a functional fiber fabric specially designed to dissipate heat and regulate moisture. The three-dimensional arrangement of the functional fibers makes the mattress drier and better ventilated. The air from the pillow's climate holes is exchanged with every movement and diffusion is significantly increased. This effective air and moisture transport ensures a healthy sleeping climate.
